Some twenty years ago Christian Science was brought to my bedside while I was a patient in a hospital, where I had been taken to undergo an operation of a very serious nature, having been told by several physicians that unless I submitted to this operation I should be confined to a wheel chair for the rest of my life.

The message of Truth and Love was brought to me by a dear sister who had been healed of ulcers of the stomach and intestines through the application of Christian Science, and in gratitude for what had been done for her my sister was explaining this wonderful healing power to others. The result of her visit was that I arose from the bed and that same afternoon accompanied her to her home, some miles away. The next day I was placed under Christian Science treatment. Needless to say, I have never had the operation. The overcoming of some of the difficulties took place at once, and in a short time all were healed.

Since taking up the study of Christian Science I have seen diseases of many types give way to the power of this wonderful truth. I myself have had many healings, such as of goiter, influenza, burns, headaches, and many other troubles.
