It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science...
It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science that I give this testimony. My first healing, of nervous dyspepsia from which I had suffered for some time, took place over twenty-one years ago. Since that time Christian Science has been my only physician. About six years ago I was healed of neuritis and rheumatism which affected my whole body, making me almost helpless. The healing was slow, but with the help of a practitioner and with faithful study and application of the truth I was made free; for this my heart goes out in gratitude to God and to our dear Leader, who has so lovingly revealed to us how to follow in the Master's footsteps. I hope that I may show my gratitude by living the life of a true Christian Scientist.
When loved ones have passed on Christian Science has healed me of sorrow and a sense of separation, and has given me a clearer sense of life with a peace that "passeth all understanding." In the last two years I have been healed quickly by absent treatment of a very severe attack of influenza, and for this healing I am indeed very grateful. I am grateful also for the Lesson-Sermons, for Mrs. Eddy's writings, for the periodicals which are so helpful; and for what Christian Science has done for me and is doing for all mankind.—(Mrs.)Edith Gerner, Hollywood, California.
