The great event of my life, and one that stands out above all others, was the healing of quick consumption through the application of Christian Science about twenty-five years ago. I had tried all material remedies recommended, including change of climate, drugs, and exercise, but steadily grew worse. When loving friends recommended that I try Christian Science, of which I knew little, I willingly accepted this God-sent help, and was quickly and permanently healed.

Like Nicodemus, who came to Jesus by night, I wanted to know how these miracles could be brought about. My continued interest in Science, and an effort to apply my understanding, have resulted in comfort and support. I have been healed of rheumatism, hernia, appendicitis, influenza, and many other minor ailments through my own efforts to demonstrate Christian Science and with the help of practitioners, who are ever ready to aid in relieving human suffering.

The textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, has been my help in many times of need. It has answered my questions, and through its use the Bible has become to me an open book to read, understand, and use daily.
