In September, 1921, our daughter had scarlet fever, and thereafter the child suffered for eight years from eruptions of the skin. Neither baths, ointments, nor other medicaments were of any use. She suffered much and was very excitable. Then we heard of Christian Science and asked for treatment for the child. After a short time she was quite free from the ailment. Since then four years have elapsed and the trouble has never again showed itself. Three years ago our elder daughter was healed of internal trouble, from which she had been suffering for almost a year. In that case, too, medical remedies had been of no avail.

Another relative, for whom the doctors had no hope, was healed in spite of her advanced age with the help of the same practitioner. This relative had been unjustly attacked, and was even threatened with legal procedure. It seemed as though she were to lose unjustly a great deal of money. But through Christian Science it was proved that God is a righteous judge, and everything was adjusted peaceably and without loss. In another case, when the problem was to find employment for our elder daughter, a very complicated situation was wonderfully cleared up through Christian Science help. It became clear to us that everyone has his own place under God's guidance, and that nobody else can occupy this place, any more than one star in the sky can get in another's way. So all concerned were supplied and blessed.
