Lecturer: Gavin W. Allan; introduced by Mrs. Helene W. Vosburg, who said:—

On page 1 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read, "The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God,—a spiritual understanding of Him, an unselfed love." And on the same page we read, "Desire is prayer." The teachings of Christian Science, when correctly applied, bring freedom from ills, discordant conditions, hatred, and lack of supply. Christ Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
