Our family turned to a Christian Science church as a last resort when seeking a more harmonious church home. We knew nothing of its teachings, nor of the healing which naturally follows an understanding of the truth about God and man. It was not long, however, before the healing power of Truth, understood and applied, began to be demonstrated. One of the first healings I noticed was that of tonsillitis. I has suffered an attack of this every year for about twelve years, but there has been not the slightest evidence of this trouble since beginning the study of Christian Science, nineteen years ago. Severe colds have been overcome almost instantaneously, and heart trouble was healed in two or three treatments, relief having been experienced at once through absent treatment.

My father had twice undergone most painful operations to relieve an eye trouble, each time being required to remain in a dark room for many days. The third and last time the symptoms of this trouble appeared, a perfect healing was effected through Christian Science treatment within a few days; nor did he lose any time from his office, where his work required the constant use of his eyes. From earliest childhood I cannot recall that my mother ever ate a meal without promptly following it with a dose of some sort to relieve a condition of indigestion, until she began the study of Christian Science. This, like many other chronic ailments, disappeared.

Christian Science has solved our every human problem to which it has been honestly applied—of lack or limitation of whatever nature, inharmonious business relations, many physical problems, and has established in us an immeasurable sense of protection.
