The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Steubenville, Ohio (First Church).
Lecturer: Miss Margaret Murney Glenn; introduced by George Edward Day, who said:—
Christian Science, or the Science of Christianity, teaches us the omnipotent power and love our Father-Mother God has for His children. We have proof of this wonderful love when we seek the truth, and we are rewarded for our efforts with the necessary blessings to make our lives harmonious. All Christian Scientists can give testimony to this truth. Those of you who are here to hear a lecture for the first time will have God, Truth, revealed to you—Truth which will meet your every need, physical, mental, and spiritual. If your lives have not been free from ill health, lack of the necessities of life, lack of continued employment, or lack of peace of mind, the permanent remedy for all these erroneous conditions will be found through the study and application of Christian Science as explained in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.
