I wish to express my gratitude to God and to our beloved...
I wish to express my gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for Christian Science. The study of this beautiful truth brings one into the realization of living "in atmosphere of love divine." We have received many healings and a precious sense of God's love and protection.
Several years ago our son became helpless with inflammatory rheumatism. Being very new in Christian Science, I called a doctor, who shook his head and said it would probably be two months before the child would fully recover, and even then we should always have to be careful of exposure, as he would be subject to these attacks. After one visit from the doctor and a day of suffering for the boy, we turned unreservedly to God and called a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly worked for one week, at the end of which time the child returned to school perfectly healed.
For this healing and many others, including the working out of the problem of unemployment, we are very grateful; but we are still more grateful for the wonderful knowledge of our true relationship to God gained through the study of Christian Science.—
