In your issue of February 19 appeared an item reprinted from the Hearne Baptist Visitor in which erroneous references to Christian Science were made. Space for correction is respectfully requested.

For one thing it stated that Christian Science denies the divinity of Christ; but on page 25 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, appears the following, which shows the mistaken sense entertained by the author of the reprinted item concerning this question: "The divinity of the Christ was made manifest in the humanity of Jesus." Many similar statements appear throughout Mrs. Eddy's writings.

Moreover, a religion that heals the sick through the power of God alone; that reclaims and redeems the wayward and the sinning; that rehabilitates the drunkard and the drug addict; that purifies the hearts of its adherents; that inculcates love for God and man, and conforms to the Christ-standard in every other particular as Christian Science does, self-evidently cannot be rightfully denominated a form of demonology.
