When I learned of Christian Science, about seven years ago, my outlook on life was a very discouraged one, because for many years I had been a severe sufferer from heart and nerve trouble. Fear and weakness had so reduced me that I could no longer go into the street alone; and I was practically unable to work. During this time I sought fruitlessly for help from physicians. Then an acquaintance told me of Christian Science, and I asked a practitioner for help. He lovingly led me into the path trodden by our great Master and followed by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. The study of the Holy Scriptures in the light of the explanation given in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, brought me nearer God. My first healing, from the condition which seemed so severe to me, came slowly. Error was stubborn until I got the right understanding, that is, until my thought was so transformed that I became conscious of my true being. It was indeed a message of God's great love and care. After this I often experienced the healing power of divine Truth and Love. Also I learned with regard to supply that we need suffer no lack, for God governs. Therefore all within and about us is, in reality, harmonious.

I am sincerely grateful to have become again, through Christian Science, a happy, joyous person; and I thank God daily, also our dear Leader and the practitioner.
