Twenty-seven years ago I was physically a nervous wreck, suffering from neuritis and unable to attend to my business. I was treated by several physicians, but found no relief. A nerve specialist of Chicago, after an examination, said he could do nothing for me, but advised me to go to the country and rest for a year. I took his advice and went to the country, but was not any better at the end of the year.

Then a friend advised me to try Christian Science. At that time I ridiculed it, or rather what I thought it was. A few weeks later, however, on meeting a Christian Scientist, I asked if he thought Christian Science could do anything for me. I shall never forget the smile of absolute confidence when he said, "There is nothing impossible with God."
