Lecturer: Ralph B. Scholfield; introduced by Mrs. Elisabeth F. Norwood, who said:—

When I was a child my mother was healed in Christian Science after being pronounced incurable by physicians. At that time there were not many Christian Scientists in the world, and she had not heard of this religion nor of its Discoverer, Mrs. Eddy, until advised to turn to it for help. She sought a Christian Science practitioner, hoping that she might regain her health, and so live to bring up her children. She was completely healed; and when she sought an understanding of Christian Science and asked the practitioner what had healed her, she was told, "It was God through His omnipotent love." This made her more eager to know about Christian Science, for she had been searching for a God as good to His children as she had planned to be to hers. She found this God in Christian Science, a God so omnipotent, so good, so loving, that He healed her when all else had failed. This is merely one of thousands of cases which prove that an understanding of the omnipotence of God heals the sick.
