Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science. When I became interested in it about twenty years ago I was wonderfully healed of a complication of diseases, among them ptomaine poisoning, nervous breakdown, and stomach disorder. For six weeks or longer I had been allowed to eat nothing but eggs and drink only orange juice. The doctors were puzzled and knew not what to do for me. Then I turned to Christian Science and was healed instantaneously of the stomach disorder, eating heartily my first meal in weeks without any ill effects, and sleeping well all through the night.

Since then I have been healed of severe colds, of ivy poisoning, and of the need for glasses which I had worn for more than nine years and which the doctors had said I should always have to wear. About five years ago I was again assured of God's loving care and protecting power through the healing of blood poisoning, which had affected seriously the lower portion of my body. This healing was slow, but I am grateful to those who so lovingly and patiently helped me through that severe trial.
