Christian Science has met all my needs. When a child, I was healed of measles and pneumonia, and later of a severe case of smallpox. At this time my mother, my young brother, and I were quarantined on a farm. There were no Christian Scientists near; but through my mother's faith and understanding of God's presence, I was healed.

During an epidemic of typhoid fever I became ill. When I grew worse, members of my family became very much frightened. I shall always be grateful to the loving practitioner who helped me through this trial. I was able each morning to dress myself and to study the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings. I was healed in about a month.

More recently I experienced another trial of my faith in God. I suddenly manifested acute mental depression and fear, followed by organic trouble. I seemed to lose all power to think clearly, and asked for help from a practitioner, who lovingly and patiently labored to awaken me from this dream. After much earnest work I was healed.
