I have been a student of Christian Science since 1912, and have had many healings and blessings. Recently I was healed of bronchial catarrh, so that today, at the age of eighty-four, I am again in the full possession of my strength and vigor. Help was lovingly given me in Christian Science. I wish to tell of my first healing, which I experienced in 1912. I was then under medical treatment. One day an abscess formed behind my right ear, and the physician wanted to operate on it at once. My daughter had previously drawn my attention to Christian Science, but the family had been very much opposed to it. The great fear of an operation, however, caused my husband to give his immediate consent to my having recourse to Christian Science. We dismissed the doctor by telephone, and at once asked a practitioner for absent treatment. In a very short time the abscess opened, the pain abated, and I was healed.

I am grateful to God with my whole heart for having led me to Christian Science; and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave back to us the primitive Christ-healing, so that we can all apply it and experience it.
