May I make one or two remarks with reference to the lecture reported in your columns today, in which a doctor made what is described as "a strong attack on Christian Science"? Why it should be thought desirable for a member of one Christian body to "attack" the teachings of another Christian body is difficult to understand. Nor is it easy to understand why the doctor poses as an authority to explain the teachings of Christian Science which, from what is reported, he evidently does not understand.

Christian Science is wholly Scriptural in its teachings, and the proof that it is so lies in the fact that it is bringing comfort and healing, both of mind and body, to thousands upon thousands who through these teachings are beginning to experience the promise of our Lord and Master, Christ Jesus, "If ye continue in my word, ... ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
