I would greatly appreciate space in your columns to correct certain misleading statements regarding Christian Science which appeared recently.

In the report of a sermon Christian Science was referred to as one of several "cults" which "satisfy but a small portion of human spiritual needs."

Christian Science, in the somewhat more than fifty years since its founding, has spread throughout the civilized world, healing not only "pain" but inharmonious conditions of all sorts — physical, moral, financial, and domestic — until today hundreds of thousands of people gratefully acknowledge its efficacy, and are attending its churches.
