Man's Unfallen Perfection

In human experience there seems to be a tendency to fall, in various ways, or to entertain the fear of falling. This untoward propensity often is manifested apparently without occasion for its occurrence. Christian Science shows the mental nature of all experience; and in seeking the remedy for this error, it may be helpful to consider the truth of man's unfallen perfection in the light of its teaching.

By definitely positing all cause in the one governing intelligence or power, reverently called God, Mary Baker Eddy, through her discovery of Christian Science, was enabled to challenge material concepts, deduced from the testimony of the corporeal senses. Her revelation is supported by the authority of the spiritual truth relating to God and His creation, as revealed in the Bible.

Opposed to so-called material law, vainly counterfeiting the divine jurisdiction, is God's beneficent spiritual law, which holds man in unfallen perfection. Through this law God supports His creation, man and the universe, holding it perpetually in order and harmony.
