I am so thankful that I was led to Christian Science
I am so thankful that I was led to Christian Science. I have experienced many blessings in these fourteen years, and should like to speak of one, for I know it will help others in a similar situation.
For about three years I was much of the time out of work, sometimes in part-time positions and at other times in those which were soon finished. After I had sought a long time for a right adjustment of the employment question, it occurred to me to work out the problem with the aid of a Christian Scientist. We came to the comprehension that God never ceases working, but ever continues, for He is omniactive, and man must always reflect His activity. We also saw that there is no loss with God, no injustice, and no inadequately rewarded work, because He fills all space and reigns over all.
When these facts were clearly realized, practically overnight a position came to me which to human sense seemed a miracle. I was led to a place which was just what I needed; the position was secured, and to-day, after five years, there has been no talk of a cessation. Also, in the matter of salary there has always been an increase and never a decrease. When in the papers and all around me I hear of depression and salary reduction, I immediately declare the truth to myself, that the one Mind rules over all, and that the one Father-Mother God cares for all. It is my constant wish that all may know this truth and be enabled to progress in the understanding of true supply.
