With a heart full of gratitude I wish to testify to the blessings and healings which have come to me through the wondrous teachings of Christian Science. This new-old religion took such deep root in my thinking that it became from the hour that I turned to a practitioner of Christian Science the light of my life. Day and night I steeped myself in the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and through steadfastly holding to divine Truth and Love I was soon freed of many wrong tendencies. I have also been completely healed of a pulmonary disease.

I wish to mention especially an instantaneous healing. For a year I had been an attendant in an institution for nervous cases. Suddenly one morning when I arose my upper right thigh pained me, though I had noticed nothing previously. Immediately I declared God's love and truth, and denied the error. I was able to go on with my work without pain. However, about noon the leg had swelled so that it was impossible for me to get about, and there was considerable suppuration. I went to the head attendant, who fixed a light bandage over the wound and said the place should be lanced by the doctor. But I knew the one reliable Physician, so in my rest period I took up the Bible and read in the eighth and ninth chapters of Matthew the wonderful healings performed by our beloved Way-shower, Christ Jesus. I silenced material sense, and declared that all the healings which Christ Jesus did were possible in the present hour. In a short time I felt relief in my leg. I read further, in the strong conviction that when I stood up I should be healed. And it was so, for I arose from my chair and could walk without difficulty. The swelling and pain had gone. It is my earnest desire and my duty to read and prove daily the truths contained in the Bible and the textbook.

I am deeply grateful to God, our heavenly FatherMother, and to our dear Leader, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, as well as to the kind practitioners for many healings and blessings.
