I am deeply grateful for what Christian Science has done for me, and wish to give my testimony of healing.

During the latter part of December, 1928, I became ill with influenza. The doctor who was called told me I was in a critical condition. After several days he called another physician, who said it was an extreme case of gastritis and stomach trouble, and left the impression upon my relatives that the end was not far off. The physician was very kind. He came for several weeks, but I did not seem to improve any; and at length he said he had done all he could for me. My granddaughter then wrote to a Christian Scientist for me, a lady whom I had known for several years. I began to improve right away. One day when the doctor was passing he stopped to see me, and said I was looking much better than he ever expected to see me again. I was soon up and doing my own work.

I am now past my eighty-seventh birthday.
