It is in deep gratitude for the complete change in my outlook on life which has been brought about by the study of Christian Science that I give this testimony.

When first I heard of Christian Science I was in great need of physical healing. For two years I had suffered from sciatica, so severe that I could not sit down for more than ten minutes at a time without having to get up and walk about on account of the pain. During these two years I had been to a number of doctors, and had tried many forms of treatment, ranging from electricity to herbal tea. Nothing, however, gave me any relief.

I was then told about Christian Science by a sister who knew a Christian Science practitioner, to whom she introduced me. Although I had never heard of Christian Science before, I was ready to try anything that held out any hope of relief, and so asked the practitioner for treatment. In about two weeks I was free, and have not been troubled any more with this disease. The fact that it took place more than twenty years ago is convincing proof that the healing was permanent.
