I am so glad that I can express gratitude for many blessings received in Christian Science. I was healed of bowel trouble which I had had from childhood, also of a tumor for which I had been operated on, only to be left in a worse condition than before. I had what doctors called a "stitch abscess," which ended in a rupture. This called for another operation, which I refused. I was then led to work for a very dear woman who told me of the truth which heals. Trying to be obedient, I began to go to church, to read the Bible Lessons daily, and to study our Leader's writings. The Bible, which was a closed book to me, is now my daily companion, along with "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which truly has proved to be a "key" to the Scriptures for me.

Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." I am so glad I have proved in a small measure something of this truth. I shall ever be grateful to the dear woman who told me of Christian Science. I am also grateful for the practitioner who so lovingly helps me when called upon. I am glad to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and am grateful for class instruction, which is daily helping me to see the nothingness of error and to know only good. I am happy and very grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who so lovingly discovered this truth for all.—(Mrs.) Susana Mayes, Indianapolis, Indiana.
