In reply to a certain correspondent's letter, may I say that to encroach upon the rights of others is entirely contrary to the teaching of Christian Science? In "Miscellaneous Writings" (p. 283) Mrs. Eddy writes: "Any exception to the old wholesome rule, 'Mind your own business,' is rare. ... I insist on the etiquette of Christian Science, as well as its morals and Christianity."

Christian Scientists generally would be the first to deplore any effort made to interfere with the freedom of others in any way, and they themselves expect similar courtesy.
