The short editorial in your issue of September 25, 1930, in which it is said that Christian Science is being applied to prosperity, may be misleading to some of your readers.

Christian Science is not imagination, but is the law of God utilized. Taking the premise that God is Mind, we see that His expression must be ideas. Hence, to be intelligent, progressive, or successful, one would certainly need to think. To think would be to meditate, and in Christian Science consecrated right thinking or meditation constitutes real prayer. Should it, then, be thought strange that one who consecrates his life to this right thinking should be successful, progressive, and free from inharmony? Christian Scientists are finding that this Science of right thinking, Christian Science, is a panacea for the ills of life and is within the reach of all.
