Over four years ago I turned to Christian Science for the healing of a severe case of eczema. While waiting for this healing I received many blessings and a spiritual uplift that brought me peace of mind, corrected many wrong thoughts, and gave me a very different idea of God and His loving, watchful care and protection. During this time I was healed of many physical difficulties, one healing being brought about through mental surgery after two doctors had told me I should have to undergo an operation in order to be well. I have also had instantaneous healings of grippe and of boils.

I have had a beautiful healing of what the doctors would have called influenza and double pneumonia. Help was asked for from a loyal practitioner. Discouragement tried to creep in, but I clung steadfastly to the truth, and with the help of the practitioner, who so patiently and faithfully worked for me, the healing was brought about in eight days. At the same time I was completely healed of the skin disease for which I had taken up the study of Christian Science, and from which I had suffered for over forty years.

I am grateful beyond words for this experience. I rejoice not only over the physical healings, but because the necessary effort has brought me closer to God. I am grateful for many blessings that this truth has brought to loved ones in my family, grateful to all those who have helped me along the way during the past four years, and deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has done so much for all the world, bringing joy and peace and harmony into so many lives.
