Like a great many others, I took up Christian Science for physical healing. Several doctors had given up hope, saying I had organic heart trouble; and I was relying on headache tablets and strychnine. Having heard of Christian Science, my husband begged me to try it. We bought a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and a Christian Science Quarterly, and asked a practitioner for treatment. I was soon healed. That was nineteen years ago, and I have attended a Christian Science church ever since. I have had many other wonderful demonstrations, including the healing of influenza, typhoid fever, sprained ankle, a stroke of paralysis, and many minor diseases. But to me the greatest change is in my disposition and in the keeping of harmony in our home.
Through the study of the Bible and our beloved Leader's writings and our periodicals I am learning in all my problems to wait on divine Love to show me the way, and to say, "Not my will, but thine, be done." I am so grateful for our Leader, for the practitioner and teacher, and for the wonderful privilege of teaching in the Sunday school.—(Mrs.) May Helen Watton, Oklahoma City, Oklahome.
