In "Your Stars To-day" column, under date of September 17, your astrologer while discussing the subject "mind over matter," attributed certain aspects of human will-power to Christian Science. While appreciating your contributor's kindly approval, please allow me to inform him and your readers that Christian Science does not employ so-called human mind forces or will-power in its teaching or practice.

The doctrine of Christian Science is purely spiritual, being founded upon the premise that all reality exists in and of the divine Mind, or God, and that the physical and moral betterment of mankind resulting from the practice of Christian Science is in fulfillment of Scriptural promise and in demonstration of the power of God as "a very present help in trouble." Therefore, Christian Science should not be confused with what is generally referred to as faith cure or with any other system originating in the human mind.
