In a spirit of thanksgiving for the good that has come to me through Christian Science I write this testimony. Six years ago I was unemployed and penniless. At that time I became interested in this beautiful religion. A position was obtained immediately, in a city where hundreds were unemployed; and since then I have been continuously demonstrating more and more supply, happiness, and health. I have been healed of influenza in four days, of a serious case of blood poisoning in two days, and more recently of a badly infected foot. The foot was so swollen I could not wear even a large house slipper. It had broken out in sores and I had a fever, and a gland in my groin was swollen and painful. Absent treatment in Christian Science was given, and instantaneous relief was experienced and a decrease in the swelling noticed. I slept well the entire night, and the next morning was driven seventy miles to my home. The foot was entirely healed in two weeks; and although the healing seemed long and tedious, I was wonderfully blessed, for I read almost continually from the Bible, the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and from other authorized Christian Science literature.

I am grateful to the patient practitioners who have so lovingly helped me, for membership in a branch church, and for all of the Christian Science literature. Especially am I grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her understanding of the Christ, Truth; and above all grateful to God, who led me to the truth that makes free.—Theodore A.
