It is with a deep sense of gratitude for the blessings and healings we have received through the little knowledge we have of Christian Science, that this testimony is given. For many years I had suffered from varicose veins and ulcers which sometimes made me bedfast for many weeks. The doctors told me there was no cure, as my left ankle bone was very much diseased. Christian Science was brought to me, and loving help was given; and with the study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in a very few weeks my legs and ankle were entirely healed. That was over four years ago, and they remain healed.

Other healings for which we are all grateful are of measles and pneumonia. My little granddaughter, when five years old, awoke one morning covered with a rash. To be obedient to the law we called in a doctor, and he said she had measles. Help was asked from a practitioner and absent treatment was given, and within three days the whole condition had been met. When the doctor paid his visit he told me the child was quite well, and that I might take her out. About three months later this same little girl was taken ill again. The doctor was called and said the trouble was pneumonia. We asked for help from the same practitioner, who gave us the love and help we needed. It was a wonderful experience to me, for there were no distressing symptoms whatever. The doctor was surprised at the quick and wonderful recovery, for the little one was quite well and about again in less than a fortnight.

We have had a great many minor healings, and for these we are all deeply grateful. I am indeed grateful for the Sunday school, where the children are taught to know their Father-Mother God and the "perfect love" which "casteth out fear."
