I am deeply grateful to Christian Science for all it has done for me since I have known of it. The light of Truth which has arisen in my life is becoming clearer and clearer to me. I was a neurasthenic, in despair, and did not understand anything of true existence; but Truth is transforming my thought. The goodness and love of God are being manifested without ceasing, correcting and blessing me continuously.

The first demonstration I had of Truth's power was the quick birth of my young daughter and a rapid recovery. At that time I was also healed of the grippe in two days by the help of a practitioner. Then my second daughter was healed of a nervous twitching of the hand. She was delicate, apathetic, and without any appetite; but I can say that, thanks to Christian Science, she eats normally and is full of energy. Once she swallowed a slate pencil. The thought came to me that since harmonious Mind directs all functions, nothing can hinder its continuous action. After two days the child did not manifest the slightest difficulty, but as the pencil was still there I telephoned to a practitioner, and half an hour later she was relieved of the obstruction.

I have been delivered from numerous fears and from a continual tendency to control everyone and everything, by the thought that God possesses, controls, and regulates all. Great progress has been made in my house regarding domestic help. I do not know how to be grateful enough. Although not yet attending Sunday school, the children already turn to Truth. Twice violent pain has been overcome; once by reading aloud "the scientific statement of being" on page 468 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy; the other time by declaring that God is the only Life, the only source of action, the cause of all real activity.
