I wish to give thanks for a healing experienced through the help of Christian Science in the summer of 1928.

Error had taken such hold of me that I could no longer go to work. The doctor who was called diagnosed calcination of the vessels of the heart, and told my wife that it was very serious. As my wife and I knew of Christian Science, we asked a practitioner for help, which was at once given. I knew that the drug the doctor had prescribed would not heal me, but that divine Love could. At times fear tried to make me waver and it was difficult for me to persevere, but divine Mind was the victor. The convulsive pains disappeared, and in four weeks I was able to take up my work again with my usual vigor. At the same time I was healed of double hernia which I had had for twenty-eight years.

For these wonderful healings I am sincerely grateful to our Father-Mother God; and to-day especially so, because through Christian Science my wife has recovered to such an extent from a long and serious difficulty that she can again assume her household duties. Our gratitude also goes out to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who revealed this wonderful teaching to us.
