Among the Churches

Current Notes

Casper Daily Tribune

Casper, Wyoming (First Church).—Services were held yesterday for the first time in the newly remodeled and enlarged auditorium of First Church of Christ, Scientist, at the corner of Grant and Fourth Streets. A beam ceiling, finished in ivory enamel, walls painted in soft tints, and art paneling below the tall art glass windows are some of the new features. Improved noiseless upholstered opera chairs provide two hundred and twenty-one comfortable seats in the auditorium, while a carpeted balcony can be furnished with additional chairs as needed. The exterior of this brick and stucco structure is brightly tinted in orange and buff, in line with the modern trend toward cheerful color schemes for public buildings.—Casper Daily Tribune.
