I wish to say how grateful I am for the healing work...

I wish to say how grateful I am for the healing work which is being done by The Christian Science Board of Lectureship instituted by our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and to tell of a healing which I experienced after attending a lecture given by one of its members. For some weeks I had been struggling, without any apparent success, against a sense of weariness, depression, irritation, and a feeling of sickness accompanied by nervous headaches. It was while in this condition that I attended the lecture. I just closed my eyes and listened intently to the inspiring and illuminating words which imparted a vivid conviction of the nothingness of matter and of mortal mind, with all its false beliefs of sin, sickness, and death, and showed how this seeming vacuity was filled with God, good, reflected by man as His image and likeness. During breakfast time the next morning I suddenly became conscious that I was free, both physically and mentally. It was such a joy to have proved once again that the Word of God, Truth, voiced with conviction and understanding, does heal. The spiritual revelation which came with this experience was also a deep cause for gratitude.

I am more grateful than I can possibly say for the Christian Science lectures, with their universal message of healing and good will to mankind.—(Miss) Evelyn May White, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.
