I wish to send my testimony of healing hoping it may meet the need of some sufferer, and also with gratitude to divine Love for release from the bondage of great suffering. From early girlhood I had been in very delicate health, and later on the doctors declared that both my lungs were affected with tuberculosis. I was sent to a sanitarium, and while there my sister-in-law gave me some Christian Science literature and asked me if I would try Christian Science, as I had not improved by my stay in the sanitarium, but was filled with fear. My husband took me to a private house on the hills near Christchurch, with my sister-in-law to look after me. One morning I asked her to speak to a practitioner for me. After a talk with the practitioner I asked her to give me treatment. Within eleven days my lungs were completely healed; and this was confirmed by the lung specialist who thoroughly examined me, and who was the same doctor who had sent me to the sanitarium. I continued having treatment for some weeks, and was healed of chronic internal inflammation for which I had been told there was no cure. Severe neuralgic headaches and other ailments too numerous to mention also disappeared.

Soon after these healings through Christian Science our little daughter, after dieting for several years, was healed of gastritis; also of the symptoms of infantile paralysis.

No one knows how great my gratitude is for this newfound health which I have enjoyed for over five years. Before my healing I had been years without knowing what it was to be a day without pain; and now I am each day rejoicing in this wonderful freedom from sickness. It has been proved to me that God does indeed heal our diseases, and that Christian Science is the truth which Jesus said would make us free. I am most thankful for the many blessings bestowed on my family and on me through the understanding of Christian Science.
