The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Burnley, England (First Church).

Lecturer: Bliss Knapp; introduced by William Walmsley, who said:—

In the Bible we read, "Ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." These lectures are given in order that others may share with us the rich blessings which the study and practice of Christian Science bring. A religion that teaches a rule of thought and action which delivers its followers from sin, sorrow, disease, and other discordant conditions must be scientific and Christian, for it proves God's unchanging love and that the Scriptural promises are as available to-day as in past ages. Christian Scientists have learned that there is an unlimited supply of good things right at hand for all of God's children, if they will reach out in the right way and take them.
