Through the study of Christian Science many thousands throughout the world have been healed of all kinds of disease, including organic, hereditary, and so-called incurable disease; and operations which were deemed inevitable have been proved to be unnecessary—all this exclusively by the understanding of God as Life, Truth, and Love, which inspires the prayer of confidence that indeed sanctifies His name. Its followers have been led to read and study the Bible, and to apply God's Word more and more in their lives for support, guidance, and supply. The lives and works of Christian Scientists are appreciated by those, even the members of other denominations, who become better acquainted with them. Its followers more and more find that the concept of Deity taught by Christian Science purifies, elevates, and makes free, here and now. Certainly we are justified in asking, as did Jesus, "For which of those works do ye stone me?"
