I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science

I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science. Some time ago I experienced a remarkably quick healing. Error was manifested by a severe pain in my arm. I was not only in great agony all the time, but also unable to move the arm. I asked for help, which was lovingly given, and in two treatments I was completely healed. The second time I visited the practitioner I mentioned that my sight for several years had not been perfect, and that while I had always been able to read any Christian Science literature I could not thread a needle. She gave me a very helpful thought, and the following day when I needed to sew, I really was surprised, although I should not have been, that I could thread the needle; and I have had no difficulty in that direction since. "There is more Science in the perpetual exercise of the Mind-faculties than in their loss," Mrs. Eddy states in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 487). This has been a daily thought, and I find my sight improving all the time.

Before knowing of Christian Science I had a great dread of the sea, and was not able to take the shortest trip without experiencing seasickness. I am happy this discord has been overcome. Our hymns have been the greatest help to me in this. I can only say with many others that I have no words with which to express my gratitude to God; to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy; to the loving practitioners; and to all who are faithfully working for the Cause of Christian Science.
