I feel impelled to wait no longer before giving a testimony relating the many blessings I have received during the time I have been an adherent of Christian Science. Like many, I did not find satisfaction with my old religion, and I came to the conclusion that with so much evil and inharmony in the world there must either be no God or a God incompetent or unwilling to cope with all the error. Now I am happy to say I have found, through the revelation of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, not only that there is in reality a God, but that this God forgives our iniquities and heals our diseases.

During many years I suffered much from influenza, and with every change of the season I was attacked and had to give a few weeks to this wrong condition. After I read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, this vanished; the smoking habit, to which I was enslaved, also left me all at once, and I have never had a desire to smoke again.

A chronic nasal trouble from which I suffered for many years, and for which I was under regular surgical attendance before I knew this wonderful Science, disappeared while I was listening to a Christian Science lecture. When leaving the hall where this lecture was delivered, I suddenly felt that I could breathe freely; and I have done so ever since. This was about four years ago.
