With a heart filled with gratitude for Christian Science I give this testimony of my healing. About two years ago I heard of this healing truth for the first time. At that time I was in a pitiful condition; I was suffering from a serious spinal disease and had been in a sanitarium for nine months. I could neither sit up nor walk, and was onliged to lie on my back day and night. The doctor did not give me much hope. In time I was taken home worse than when I left home. We then tried homeopathy, but found no relief.

One day dear friends called my attention to Christian Science, and I asked for a practitioner, who lovingly talked to me about the truth and then gave me absent treatment. I studied the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, earnestly, and after a few weeks I felt an improvement; and to-day I am so well that I can walk for hours at a time. I am sincerely grateful to God for His guidance and help, to Mrs. Eddy, and to all who helped me to learn of Christian Science.
