I took up the study of Christian Science for the first time about three years ago. Since then I have had many proofs of its power. The healings I am going to speak of all took place within six months after I started studying Christian Science.

One night, just after supper, I went down to the basement in a hurry. In so doing I slipped and fell down fifteen steps. One of the members of the family ran to pick me up, and found my foot turned back under me. I could not move it. After some time I was upstairs and lying on a couch. My limb was swollen to the knee. I had help from a very dear practitioner, and can truly say that in twenty minutes I was on the floor walking, although limping a little. In the morning I was able to attend Sunday school and church, and have not had trouble from the ankle since.

I have also been healed of colds, sprained wrist, and an aching in my side. A deep sorrow has also been healed. I am learning better every day how to realize the truth for myself. I have gained the friendship of children, and have also cleared my thought of the belief that a school-teacher was disagreeable to me. I am very thankful for Christian Science, and since I am only sixteen years of age I know I have many beautiful proofs ahead of me.
