When I was a littele girls of about eleven years, I was bothered with stomach trouble. I was hungry, but nothing would remain in my stomach—not even medicine. A lawyer living across the street from us advised my father to try Christian Science for me. Father thought nothing could make me worse than I then was; so, although he did not know what Christian Science was, I was taken to a practitioner. I received treatment, and father and I started home again. As we passed an ice cream parlor I asked if I could have some ice cream. Father was surprised to hear me ask for anything like that; but remembering that the practitioner had said to give me whatever I wanted to eat, he took me in, and I ate a large dish of ice cream. After that I asked for candy and ate that, and felt fine. About a month and a half later I seemed to be bothered again. One treatment, how ever, helped that; and I have not been troubled since. I have been healed of many other difficulties, some of them very serious ones. I have had two painless experiences of childbirth, having absent treatment on both occasions.

At one time I had terrible cramps. At last I felt I could not stand the pain any longer. One treatment in Christian Science, however, relived me of this trouble in a very surprising way. For this healing also I am truly grateful.

Our son, when one year old, seemed very feverish. One absent treatment was given him, and the fever left him.
