I am grateful to God for giving to the world our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, whose untiring labor of love has given us the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures;" through the study and application of which our every problem can be solved.

My first healing, of chronic rheumatism, was slow. Medicine, osteopathy, electricity, and so forth, had been tried in turn before Christian Science was presented to me. Through gaining an understanding of Truth, through the study of the Bible and our Leader's works, and the help of a loving practitioner, this disease was entirely overcome, as have been many other inharmonious conditions. A severe case of blood poisoning, involving the left arm, was overcome within a week with help from a practitioner.
