[Written for the Sentinel]
Thou Art the Power
Thou
art the power by which we move
Mountains of wrong and sin;
Thou art the omnipresent Love
That feeds the life within.
Meekly and lowly, day by day,
God, teach us all to live;
And to sustain us in the way,
Bread of the Spirit give.
Thou only canst, from error's thrall
The thoughts of men release;
For Thou, O God, art All-in-all,
Life, Love, and Truth—our peace!
