Lecturer: Rev. Andrew J. Graham; introduced by Miss Hannah E. Hanson, who said:—

I attended my first lecture on Christian Science more from a sense of curiosity than from interest. What I heard did not seem to reach farther than the ear, because of prejudice against what I thought Christian Science to be. Later, however, through a sister's healing of a severe case of asthma, my thought was awakened, and prejudice lessened until a willingness came to read the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I continued to read and study, and gradually found the spiritual help I sought—help which completely changed my outlook on life.
