For over twenty-five years Christian Science has been our only remedy for sickness, business, war troubles, and sorrow. The truth as revealed in Christian Science came to us after losing three children, who were believed to have inherited several troubles; and the only child left was doomed by medical opinion, but was saved by Christian Science treatment. My husband, too, was healed, and enjoyed eighteen years of perfect health.

In 1918, I had a sudden bereavement, which only this truth could have helped me to survive; but by its wonderful and sustaining power I was strengthened beyond measure. Not only that, but, after claiming my husband's estate and being refused possession of it (though plainly left to me by will), I found that the truth again applied, opened both ways and hearts; so that I received my own in a most wonderful way, and won the love of the family, too, to an extent never shown before.

For these blessings I am grateful beyond words; but I am far more grateful for a better understanding of God, a clearer vision of the Bible, and the joy which comes through Mrs. Eddy's interpretation of God as divine Love.—(Mrs.) Emily Kyle Battley, Thornton Heath, Surrey, England.
