Christian Science was revealed to me in my hour of need. I was not then in as great need of physical healing as of something that would bring peace to me and still the disquietude of my weary thought. Into this seeming chaos a ray of Truth penetrated. Following its hallowed beams I found Christian Science, and in a great measure the fulfillment of that God-given peace "which passeth all understanding," and in the same measure the hope that bears one on. Should I not then lift my voice in gratitude to our Father-Mother God, to Christ Jesus the Way-shower, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who in her untiring search and patient love found and gave to the world this truth which heals, reiterating the command of the Master, "Peace, be still"?

My healings have been many, both mental and physical. I have been healed of chronic sick headaches, of constipation of long duration, of appendicitis, of an aggravated attack of influenza, and of many other ills of the flesh. I am deeply grateful for the loving practitioners who, in their unfailing tenderness and clear understanding, have aided me in their gentle ministries of love. Each healing brings a better understanding of the truth, and a greater confidence in God's protecting love.

I am most grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; also for the privilege of class instruction, which has meant much to me; and for the joyous service of teaching in the Sunday school. May I prove my gratitude for this Christ, Truth, and to our Leader, by rendering service in deeds of love and by my life.
