I did not come to Christian Science for physical healing, but because I was unhappy and dissatisfied, and could not find any comfort or practical help in the teachings of my church.

After I began to study Christian Science my whole outlook on life was changed; and as I learned to apply its teachings, I was healed of many physical ailments. One of the first healings I had was of congestion of the lungs. A few minutes after treatment was started all pain and fever left me, and within an hour I was perfectly well and experienced no after effects. This seemed very wonderful and beautiful to me, as all former attacks had kept me in the house and suffering for at least a month.

I have had many other physical healings, for which I am most grateful, but I feel that these are the smallest part of the blessings which have come to me. When I first read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I knew that I had found a practical religion, which would solve all my problems. I can truly say that I am better morally, spiritually, and physically than I was, and that Christian Science has never failed, when faithfully applied, to prove the power of divine Mind to meet all my needs. My great desire is to reflect more of Truth and Love, and so to be able to help others as I have been helped.
