All my early childhood I had been a great care to my mother. When only six weeks old I had meningitis, which left me very delicate. Since my mother took up the study of Christian Science, I have not used any material remedy, and I am grateful to say I am now a well and happy girl.

I should also like to tell of a beautiful healing I had about four years ago, when a box full of matches caught fire in my hand, the burn drawing it up so that I could not open it. Through reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and realizing that I was God's perfect child, in less than an hour I could open my hand, and all pain had vanished into its native nothingness. I was so grateful for this healing, as my mother was not at home at the time. My father, who was not interested in Christian Science at that time, wanted to put some oil on the burn, but I just knew that God would heal me.

I am now eighteen years old, and am grateful that I have still two more years during which to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. I am also very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health.—(Miss) Dorothy Holroyd, Morecambe, Lancashire, England.
