Words can never express my deep sense of joyful gratitude...
Words can never express my deep sense of joyful gratitude to Christian Science for a marvelous healing I had a little more than two years ago. From my earliest childhood I had had stomach trouble, which developed into acute gastritis. After spending about eight months in bed, taking little more than milk and water, I became so weak that I lost the use of my left arm, and the right one was getting very painful; and I had lost all hope of ever being well again. At this period Christian Science was suggested to me. I reached out for it as my last hope, and began reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. Two days later I had a long talk with a loving practitioner, with the result that on her departure I left the house, quite alone, and walked for about half an hour without effort or fatigue. From that day my recovery was so rapid that I was able to be at business three weeks later. My arm, which I had felt very much worried about, was quite healed before the sixth week. Since then I have been healed of constipation, and I now enjoy vigorous health.
"The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." All these things have I experienced; and I can never say how thankful I am to God that this glorious light has come to me. I am grateful to Christ Jesus, who has shown us the way, and to Mrs. Eddy for having made the truth so plain that it can be applied to any problem. This divine law, which is ever present and always operating, has been, and is, a profound blessing to me.
